Cyfarfod cenedlaethol - National gathering 2-4 October 2015

Daeth tua 35 o bobl at ei gilydd i drafod paramaethu yng Nghymru ar 2-4 Hydref, yn Fferm Denmark yng Ngheredigion, a hynny yn y ddwy iaith. It was a busy bilingual weekend for Permaculture Wales at the recent gathering hosted by Lampeter Permaculture Group at Denmark Farm, near Lampeter, in Ceredigion.

Permaculture enthusiasts came from Pembrokeshire, Cardiff, Newport, mid Wales, Swansea, the Llyn peninsula and the Welsh borders, not forgetting Leeds, to exchange experiences and develop the national movement, while enjoying an early autumn weekend hosted by the Lampeter Permaculture Group. We enjoyed the new Eco Lodge, pizzas from the cob oven and an Apple Day celebration, plus site tours, an open space discussion on Welsh permaculture, and workshops on subjects such as housing, forest gardening, eliminating Himalayan balsam, and bridging language communities.

Now we are working on a plan for Welsh permaculture, and we'd love to hear from you. We talked about developing the website, making permaculture projects more visible, doing better outreach, using the Welsh language more, designing a bioregions approach, developing education programmes and organizing more gatherings - so if these are of interest to you, please get in touch at Paid bod yn swil - don't be shy!
