For the first time, Permaculture in Wales has its own shop window. You'll notice that we are calling it Paramaethu, which comes from the Welsh words 'parhau' which means continuing, and 'maethu' which means to nurture and is the root of the Welsh words for farming (amaethu) and nursery (meithrinfa.)

Croeso i'r wefan newydd! Am y tro cyntaf mae gan Baramaethu Cymru siop ffenest lle cewch weld y pethau gwych sy'n digwydd. Mae Paramaethwyr yng Nghymru wrthi yn creu dyfodol newydd trwy gyfuno'r gorau o'r gorffennol a'r thechnegau a syniadau diweddaraf am ddatblygu cynaliadwy, ac mae mwy a mwy o bobl yn dod ynglwm.

The Association is a growing charity within a fast expanding network, so we tend to be very busy! We aim to work in partnership with members and other organisations and almost everything we do is led by members who volunteer their time, with paid staff providing support and making sure that the more routine tasks are kept in order.

Permaculture principles and design techniques are used throughout our work and inform the development of new projects.

We value comments and feedback on our work, and are interested to hear about your ideas of what else needs to be done - we will try to help you make it happen!

In this section you can find information about some of the main projects and activities we are currently involved in.
