Join us for the annual Educators Meeting on Thursday 5 September, the day before this year's national permaculture convergence (6-8 Sept).
It is an exciting time for education - new developments to learn about and some exciting plans in the permaculture education pipelines.
The Educators Meeting is for all those interested in educating people about permaculture. From those trying to figure out how to use permaculture education in their lives or work, to senior diploma tutors and the most experienced permaculture practitioners. If you are working in schools or any educational body, even if you are early on your permaculture journey, please do come along!
There will be plenty of information to help aspiring permaculture teachers, and a focus group on working with children.
Five themes will be addressed on the day:
- Mainstream and marketing
- Online Courses
- Children and Youth in permaculture
- Policies and standards / Continuing Personal Development
- Pooling our resources
- An open space for any other pertinent education issues
There is opportunity to attend remotely. If you can only attend for a short period of time, please email with the session/s you are most interested in and I will try my best to inform you of the correct time/s to zoom in.
Please contact Jemma, education network coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org to suggest topics of relevance and/or to offer to run a session that you think will be important for other educators to hear about.
